Saripodhaa Sanivaaram OTT: Nani’s action-packed movie Saripodhaa Sanivaaram, released on August 29, has made a significant impact at the box office. Directed by Vivek Athreya, the film features Nani as Surya, a character battling against corruption and injustice. The buzz around the movie continues as fans await its online streaming release. Reports indicate that Netflix has acquired the digital rights for Saripodhaa Sanivaaram for a substantial ₹45 crore. Following the success of Nani’s previous film Dasara on the platform, Netflix is expected to start streaming the movie around the first week of October, although the exact date is yet to be confirmed. Additionally, Zee Telugu has secured television rights, ensuring that the film reaches a wider audience.
Unfortunately, the movie has also fallen victim to piracy, with illegal copies circulating on several platforms just hours after its release. Despite efforts to combat this, Saripodhaa Sanivaaram remains accessible through unauthorized channels. This situation mirrors other recent films like Dhanush’s Raayan, which also suffered from online leaks.
The story revolves around a man named Surya, who promises his mother to control his anger for six days, releasing it only on Saturdays and only against those who truly deserve it. However, after facing a tragic situation, he comes across a corrupt police officer named CI Daya. Surya then embarks on a mission to seek revenge for the wrongs done by Daya.
The film is produced by D V V Danayya under DVV Entertainment, with music composed by Jakes Bejoy, cinematography by Murali G, and editing by Karthika Srinivas. The movie was reportedly made with a budget of Rs 90 crore.
Nani’s most recent appearance was in the romantic drama Hi Nanna, which was released in 2023. Directed and written by Shouryuv, the film stars Nani, Mrunal Thakur, and Kiara Khanna in lead roles, with supporting performances by Jayaram, Nassar, Priyadarshi Pulikonda, and others.
