The romantic film “Sapta Sagaralu Dhaati Side B” is set to make its debut on Amazon Prime after its recent run in theaters. Fans can catch this heartfelt tale from December 15 on the streaming platform in various languages, including Telugu, Tamil, and Malayalam, in addition to the original Kannada version, titled “Sapta Saagaradaache Ello – Side B.”
Initially released in cinemas on November 17, the movie quickly transitions to OTT due to the success of its predecessor, Side A, and mixed reactions surrounding Side B’s reception. Despite the strong performances by Rakshit Shetty and Rukmini Vasanth, audience feedback highlighted a weak storyline, leading to challenges for the sequel at the box office.
Both Side A and Side B were directed by Hemanth M. Rao and featured Rakshit Shetty and Rukmini Vasanth in lead roles. While the first installment achieved box office success, Side B faced a shorter theatrical run, especially in the Telugu market.
The storyline of “Sapta Sagaralu Dhaati – Side B” revolves around Manu (Rakshit Shetty), who strives to set things right for Priya (Rukmini Vasanth) upon his release from prison. His path unexpectedly crosses with Surbhi (Chaitra J. Achar), a prostitute, leading to unforeseen twists in the tale. Will Manu succeed in his mission? How does Surbhi influence his life?
