Sankranthi clash victories:
Sankranthi, a major festival in the Telugu film industry is known for its competitive movie releases. Between 2000 and 2025, several actors have stood out for their performances during this festive season.
Venkatesh has been particularly successful, securing victories in 6 out of 10 Sankranthi releases. Notable films include:Kalisundam Raa (2000), Lakshmi (2006), Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu (2013), F2 (2019) and the frequent super-hit Sankranthiki Vastunnam.
Ravi Teja has also made a mark, winning 3 out of 5 Sankranthi clashes, with an additional win in a World Television premiere. His successful films are: Krishna (2008), Mirapakai (2011), Krack (2021)
Mahesh Babu achieved victories in 3 out of 7 Sankranthi releases. His successful films include: Okkadu (2003), Businessman (2012) and Seethamma Vakitlo Sirimalle Chettu (2013),
Allu Arjun has a perfect record, winning both of his Sankranthi releases Desamuduru (2007) and Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo (2020)
Nagarjuna secured victories in 2 out of 3 Sankranthi releases. His successful films are:
Soggade Chinni Nayana (2016) and Bangarraju (2022)
Chiranjeevi achieved victories in 2 out of 5 Sankranthi releases Khaidi No. 150 (2017)
and Waltair Veerayya (2023)
Balakrishna secured victories in 2 out of 12 Sankranthi releases including Veera Simha Reddy(2023) and Daaku Maharaaj (2024)
In terms of the number of releases, Balakrishna leads with 12 Sankranthi films, followed by Chiranjeevi with 5, Venkatesh with 10, Ravi Teja with 5, Mahesh Babu with 7, Allu Arjun with 2 and Nagarjuna with 3.
