Sandeep Reddy Vanag made his Bollywood venture with Kabir Singh. The film has opened to massive criticism for its masculine toxicity and misogyny, despite this the film has gone to make over staggering Rs 200 crore business and continues to run with packed houses.
Sandeep for the first time ever has opened to criticism his film got and defending it he quips, “When you are deeply in love and deeply connected to a woman (and vice versa), if you don’t have the liberty of slapping each other, then I don’t see anything there”. Slamming the critics, he says, “Probably they never experienced (love) in the right way. It’s new to them,” adding “For the Telugu film, they criticised numerous aspects in the film. But here, they were only on the feminist side, they didn’t speak about anything else. They probably hate me”.
