Kannada film industry is finally embracing the direct-to-OTT route to release completed films, given the pandemic isn’t exactly slowing down in the country and the uncertainty about the opening of theatres only seems to be increasing by the day. Leading actor from Sandalwood, Puneeth Rajkumar, who has produced a film titled Law will now release it directly on Amazon Prime Video on July 17.
Beyond this film, Puneeth has also been in the news for his another production, Family Pack whose motion poster opened to impressive responses on social media recently. While the first glimpses of the film indicate a chirpy outing, reportedly the makers have already gotten enquiries for sale of digital rights to OTTs.
However, it seems like Puneeth has an intention to dub the film in other languages as well, owing to the renewed interest of many audiences in South Indian films. Realising good online promotions are integral to its publicity, he has spread the word about Family Pack through several social media handles effectively.
