Rashmi Gautham, a well-known anchor on the popular show Jabardasth, is never one to hold back when it comes to expressing her thoughts on social media. While her usual topics of discussion revolve around pets and feminism, she recently took a bold stand in favor of ‘Sanatana Dharma.’
When confronted by a user who questioned her on whether “skin show” was consistent with Sanatana Dharma, given her recent appearance in the movie ‘Boys Hostel,’ Rashmi responded emphatically.
She stated, “Kamasutra was part of our culture. As for the ‘skin show,’ please take a moment to understand how our attire was before foreign invasions. What Hindu girls wore was of little concern. We were never this superficial. The constraints we face today are man-made and have no connection to Hinduism or Sanatana Dharma.”
