Vijayashanthi made a comeback to the movies after 13 years with Mahesh Babu’s Sarileru Neekevvaru. After a gap, Tabu too made her comeback to Telugu cinema with Allu Arjun’s Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo. The discussion about their remunerations is currently in progress.
The producers of Sarileru Neekevvaru paid an amount of 3 crores as remuneration for Vijaya Shanthi and surprisingly, Tabu too received the same amount as a remuneration for the movie. Although Tabu’s role is small compared to that of Vijaya Shanthi’s in Sarileru Neekevvaru, the remuneration is the same for both. Both the films became hits at the box-office and they created a non-Baahubali records as well.
