Pratyusha Foundation is run by Samantha and she also spoke about the NGO in Lakshmi Manchu’s programme Memu Saitham. The NGO also reached out for help to the victims of Kerala floods, proving them materials.
On the other side, Samantha landed in trouble over her tweet on Nandamuri Harikrishna’s demise tweet. Nandamuri fans are irked over Samantha and opened a barrage of negative tweets for overlooking the death of the veteran star and promoting her Tamil flick Irumbu Thirai (Abhimanyudu). Samantha posted, “#RIPHarikrishna Shocked and saddened. Strength to the family in this difficult time”.
On the work front, Sam is awaiting the release of U-Turn, Telugu Tamil bilingual, on September 13. Of late, rumours were also rife that Samantha would quit acting soon. To this, her hubby Naga Chaitanya cleared the air saying, “Sam won’t quit films as she is busy with many projects presently. She may take a break, but she won’t quit now.” Chay also stated that Sam is akin to his father as they bother are straight-forward in their opinions. On the work-front, Sam and Chay will be seen together in Shiva Nirvana’s film and adding that this is their first film together post-marriage it has already created a hype.
