Samantha is back on set and is shooting for her new web series that is being directed by Raj and DK. The shooting of this series is on as of now in London and Samantha is shooting with Varun Dhawan.
Well, when asked why she signed the remake of the English series Citadel, Sam says “When Prime Video and Raj & DK approached me with this project, I decided to take it up in a heartbeat! After working with this team on The Family Man, it is a homecoming for me”.
Also, in one of the chats with fans, Samantha said that the show is not a remake of the English version and so much has been changed. The English version which has Priyanka Chopra as the lead received a lot of mixed responses.
Adding further she says “The Citadel universe, the interconnected storylines between the productions across the globe, and most importantly, the script of the Indian installment really excited me,” Apart from this, Samantha is also set to join the sets of her new film Khushi that is being directed by Shiva Nirvana.
