Actress Samantha is in a purple patch after delivering back-to-back hits. The actress’s last release was bilingual film U-Turn and this day, Sam has special words for its director Pawan Kumar, who celebrates his birthday. The actress posted a special message for him on Instagram and called him a “rare man” adding she will watch all his movies and is proud to have worked with him. “Happy birthday @pawankumarfilms. I have to say nice things.. (suppressing my gag reflex). I will always be your fan.. and I will always watch every film of yours fdfs because you are a rare kind..and I am so proud to have worked with you. I love you my friend,” wrote Sam.
On the work front, Samantha might play Ravan’s sister Soorpanaka’s role in a mythological film, to be helmed by Bhargava. Apparently, Sam liked the script but is yet to sign on the dotted lines. Meanwhile, rumours are thick and fast that the role was first approached to Kajal Aggarwal but due to busy schedules, the role was offered to Samantha.
