‘Samantha has moved on, and so have I’ – Naga Chaitanya on divorce

Naga Chaitanya and Samantha Ruth Prabhu’s divorce was widely discussed in the media. After years of staying silent, Naga Chaitanya recently addressed the matter in an podcast on YouTube.

He spoke about how the media turned their private decision into entertainment. “We asked for privacy but unfortunately, it became a headline, a topic of gossip,” he said. Chaitanya emphasized that both he and Samantha had their reasons for parting ways but still respected each other.

Chaitanya expressed disappointment over how people treated him like a criminal for a mutual decision. He shared that coming from a broken family, he understands the impact of separation and did not take the decision lightly. “I know the consequences, and I would think a thousand times before ending a relationship,” he said.

The actor clarified that both he and Samantha have moved on in their lives, and he is happy for her. He also mentioned that his marriage to Sobhita Dhulipala has helped him find peace.

Towards the end of the interview, Chaitanya stated that the divorce was not an overnight decision. Though he felt bad about it, he chose to rebuild himself and focus on a better future.
