Riviera, the yearly sports and cultural celebration of VIT (Vellore Institute of Technology), recently unfolded in Vellore, Tamil Nadu, with a special appearance by renowned actress Samantha Ruth Prabhu. The talented actress graced the occasion as the valedictory chief guest for the 2024 edition.
During the event, Samantha captured everyone’s attention with a brief but impactful speech.
Notably, her words regarding the popular actor ‘Icon Star’ Allu Arjun resonated widely. Samantha expressed admiration for her co-star, referring to him as her ‘role model.’ She enthusiastically praised Allu Arjun, asserting that he has evolved into a remarkable force in the realm of acting.
Their collaboration is not unfamiliar to fans, having shared the screen in significant projects like Trivikram’s “Son of Satyamurthi” in 2015 and the catchy item number ‘Oo Antava’ from “Pushpa: The Rise” in 2021. Samantha’s heartfelt commendations for Allu Arjun circulated rapidly across the internet, sparking excitement and joy among the actor’s dedicated fan base.
In the same event, she also shared that her hardest role is actually being herself. She mentioned how life can be unpredictable, without a script, and highlighted her experience dealing with myositis, a health condition that affects her muscles.
On the work front, Samantha will be next seen in the web series ‘Citadel: Indian’ which is an Indian version of the American spy series. She will be starring alongside Varun Dhawan.
