Samantha Blames Karan Johar
In an episode of Koffee With Karan in 2022, Samantha Ruth Prabhu humorously accused Karan Johar of being responsible for unhappy marriages. Appearing with Bollywood star Akshay Kumar, Samantha’s witty remark caught attention. She joked, “You are on some level the reason for unhappy marriages,” pointing out how Karan’s movies often portray an idealized version of marriage.
Samantha further explained, “You have portrayed life as K3G when, in reality, it is KGF,” comparing the rosy depiction in Karan’s films to the gritty reality many people face. Her comment, although light-hearted, made headlines and sparked conversations about the impact of cinema on real-life expectations.
