There is a super treat for Salman Khan and Jacqueline Fernandez fans. Sajid Nadiadwala’s wife, producer Wardha Nadiadwala took to her social media to announce that Jacqueline Fernandez will star opposite Salman Khan in Kick 2. This announcement comes on Jacqueline’s birthday. Earlier, the makers of Kick 2 revealed that Salman Khan will star as the lead in the film, but they hadn’t revealed the female lead. Sajid Nadiadwala had spoken to the media in January that he has locked down the script, but was waiting for a female lead.
After action drama Kick, Jacqueline Fernandez and Salman Khan will be back in the sequel to entertain the fans. On Twitter, producer Wardha Nadiadwala tweeted, “Here is your BIRTHDAY GIFT that will be remembered Forever! @Asli_Jacqueline overjoyed to FORMALLY announce that #SajidNadiadwala locked the script at 4am this morning & has written an exceptional role for you! @BeingSalmanKhan’s #Kick2 rolling soon Welcome Back! @NGEMovies.”
This will definitely turn out to be a great treat for Jacqueline’s birthday. The original film Kick, was released in 2014 and became the highest grossing film of the year. It was a remake of a Telugu film by the same name. Let’s hope we get to see some romance and action drama in the second outing. We can’t wait to see Devil/Devi in Kick 2.
