Prabhas’ Salaar, has been getting a fantastic response from viewers. One key highlight that’s making waves on the internet is the role played by a young boy in the film.
Whenever a new movie hits the screens, there will be a lot of buzz around the newcomers and those who impress with their acting. Similarly, in Salaar, a young boy who portrayed a younger version of Prithviraj Sukumaran got a lot of attention. Interestingly, this boy happens to be the son of a well-known Telugu actor, Ravi Teja’s cousin.
The boy’s name is Karthikeya Dev, and he’s currently studying in the tenth grade. Director Prasanth Neel held auditions to find the right child actor for that specific role in the film, and Karthikeya was ultimately chosen. Despite being in the midst of his studies, Karthikeya rehearsed for a month and completed his part in just 15 days of shooting.
What’s even more exciting is that Prithviraj Sukumaran, impressed by Karthikeya’s performance in Salaar, offered him a role in the sequel to the hit movie ‘Lucifer.’ Karthikeya expressed his gratitude for being selected by Prithviraj for this sequel.
