Sailaja Reddy Alludu Movie Review
Story
Naga Chaitanya (Chay), a boy next door, falls for a girl from a well do family. Anu Emmanuel (Anu) like her mom played by Ramya Krishna is egoistic. As time races Anu agrees Chay’s love but applies a condition. What does Chay do when he comes to know that Ramya Krishna arranges his daughter’s marriage to someone else. How does he convinces Ramya Krishna to be accept him as his son-in-law.
Analysis
Director Maruthi has chosen a regular Athha-Alludu trope which was a hit in 90s but this formulaic content driven falls flat. Vennela Kishor and Prudhi’s character entices with comedy but when the scenes of Chaitanya and Ramya Krishna falls flat. The first half is good with a tinge of commercial elements but it is Murali Sharma’s role that elevates the film in climax. All the actors are good with Chay i his lover-boy role and his chemistry with Anu but the person who steals the show is Ramya Krishna. The music is noting extraordinary as you won’t remember any tune as you walk out of the cinema hall.
Positives
- Naga Chaitanya, Anu Emmanuel Chemistry
- Ramya Krishna

- Failed trope
