Sai Pallavi opens up about Bollywood PR pressure for fame boost
Sai Pallavi, a popular actress, recently shared an interesting experience about fame and publicity. While promoting her upcoming movie Amaran, where she stars alongside Sivakarthikeyan, Sai Pallavi revealed how someone from Bollywood once advised her to hire a public relations (PR) agency to increase her visibility and stay in the public eye.
According to Sai Pallavi, she was told that having a PR team could help her gain more attention and make people talk about her more often. However, she politely declined this suggestion, saying it would add no real value to her career. In her view, if people continuously talk about her, it would eventually become boring and meaningless.
Sai Pallavi prefers to let her work speak for itself rather than relying on outside efforts to keep her in the spotlight. She emphasized that being in the limelight for the wrong reasons isn’t something she finds fulfilling.
She also talked about her initial hesitation to accept her role in Premam, her debut film. At first, she even thought the director’s offer was a scam because she was still a medical student at the time. But after much thought, she eventually took the chance, which led to her breakthrough in the film industry.
In addition, Sai Pallavi reflected on a time when she shared a dance video with her fans. Despite her love for dance, she soon realized that some people were viewing her in ways she was not comfortable with. She expressed her desire to be seen for her talent, not as an object of attention.
Sai Pallavi continues to stay true to her values, focusing on meaningful roles and rejecting superficial fame. Amaran is set to release on October 31, coinciding with the Diwali festival.
