The Congress in Telangana is in deep trouble. Barely a day after Rahul Gandhi’s visit to the state, senior party leader and former MLA Sabitha Indrareddy appears all set to ditch the party. The news that she has met TRS working president KTR has deeply unnerved the Congress. She met KTR at MIM leader Asaduddin Owaisi’s residence. Asad took the initiative in bringing both together.
There were rumours that Sabitha, her son Karthik Reddy and their followers are all set to leave the Congress. Sabitha has not denied these rumours. Karthik wanted Rajendranagar MLA seat during the last assembly elections.
But, the party declined. Since then both Sabitha and Karthik are sulking and have indicated that it’s all over between them and the Congress.
