Baahubali catapulted Prabhas to a pan-Indian star. From making Bollywood look up to him, it even earned him fan following from overseas as well. Post Baahubali, Prabhas is coming up with Saaho. The film stars Bollywood doe-eyed beauty Shraddha Kapoor, which her first debut film down South.
Directed by Sujeeth, Saaho makers have kick-started the promotions in a grand way from Sunday. The film has high octane action scenes, for which the makers have spent whopping amount for scenes shot in Abu Dhabi and Dubai. Meanwhile, do you know the price of the car used in Saaho? You will be shocked to know that the makers had spent Rs. 5.2 crores which is a souvenir for the actor.
Speaking about the kickass trailer, it talked about Rs 2000 crore worth robbery. And Prabhas is the undercover agent who will be preying on the thieves to nab them. But what happens when Prabhas has to deal with “dangerous city of powerful gangsters” which includes Neil Nitin Mukesh, Jackie Shroff, Mandira Bedi, Chunky Panday and Arun Vijay. Then comes Amrita Nair, essayed by Shraddha, and things change when she enters Prabahs’ life.
Madhie is behind the lens, while production design has Sabu Cyril, background score by Ghibran. Saaho has action directors Kenny Bates, Peng Zhang, Dhilip Shubbarayan, Stunt Shiva, Bob Brown and Ram-Laksman on board.
