Saaho took an earth shattering opening for any film of a South Indian hero in North Indian belts. Except for Tamil Nadu movie did great business all over with best coming from Hindi belts and Nizam.
Movie collected more than 20 crores share in three days in Nizam and 80.25 crores Nett in three days in North India. This is a clear testimony for the popularity Prabhas enjoys across India.
Baahubali did put him in the hearts of mass commercial and action film lovers in North India, without any doubt. Many expected movie to fall flat from second day itself but with a 30 crores Nett collection on Day 3, Prabhas showed his star pull and movie did find some sort of acceptance in mass belts, we must say.
After Ganesh Chathurthi, from Tuesday, the trend of collections will show how the movie will end and what will be its box office fate. For now, movie is escaping Disastrous verdict commercially as the fans of Prabhas are thonging to theatres.
Ceeded in Telugu states and Karnataka, Kerala have showed huge dip after first day. Even several areas in Andhra Pradesh have shown dip but makers are expecting a good turnout even on Pooja day for the film.
Movie reportedly collected Rs. 200 crores gross Worldwide by 2 days and in India by 3 days. In USA and other International markets, movie seems to be heading towards losses for sure.
UAE-GCC market opened huge for any Telugu film and the final numbers are yet to arrive. But the weekend performance
in the area is said to be close to Rs.15.75 crores gross.
Prabhas showed his strength with Saaho as a star pulling such huge numbers in first three days of release even with weak word of mouth and 1/1.5 ratings which indicate content being bad.
