Ahan Shetty’s debut movie is a remake of the hit Telugu drama ‘RX100’. The entertainer featured Kartikeya Gummakonda and Payal Rajput in the lead and Ahan and Tara will be stepping into their shoes for the remake. Titled ‘Tadap’, the love saga will be directed by Milan Luthria and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala. The original Telugu film ‘RX100’ featured a village boy who falls in love with the daughter of a local politician. They get intimate but are separated by their elders and the film narrates their love story which is packed with emotions and a good dose of action. Interestingly, the film’s poster features Ahan in an intense avatar. ‘Tadap’ has also been majorly shot in Mumbai and Mussoorie.
Ahead of the shoot, the makers of ‘Tadap’ visited several cinema halls in Mumbai to zero in on one as Ahan’s character in the film runs a movie theatre. The makers finally zeroed in on Mumbai’s Central Plaza theatre, where Ahan will be seen running movie shows. On the other hand, Tara Sutaria will present a totally ‘different side’. Tara said, “Anyone who has watched the Telugu original knows how unconventional the girl’s character is. It’s unlike any love story and people will get to see a different side of me.”
