Ajay Bhupathi‘s film RX100 starring newcomers, Karthikeya and Payal Rajput, has opened to a tremendous response from the audience, making it an instant hit. The film made on a meagre budget of Rs 2.5 crore has not only recovered the amount but has entered into the profit zone. It is learnt that the film is inching the mark of Rs 10 crore.
The lead actor Karthikeya is the son of the film’s producer Ashok Reddy. Incindetenally, Ashok Reddy had produced a film titled ‘Itlu Prema’ and incurred loss of nearly Rs 4.5 crore. But, the good thing he can heave a sigh of relief, as his latest film RX100 has set the cash registers ringing. This is, in fact, a sweet gift from Karthikeya to his ‘Producer’ father.
“I don’t know how to handle success because it is overwhelming. I believe in destiny and realised that God will be sending a person to help you achieve your goal and director Ajay approaching me proves the same,” Karthikeya said on the film’s success.
