Bengali women are making news for both the wrong and right reasons. Rhea Chakraborthy was a honey trap, she drugged Sushant, stole his money, pedalled drugs and finally is in jail as a prime accused in his suspicious death. Jaya Bachchan, a selfish artiste, lost her mind and defended Bollywood in the Rajya Sabha. She never said a word on Disha Salian or Sushant Rajput’s death but openly supported the drug cartel which is indirectly pumping hawala money to fund terrorist activities. The right thing that Payal Ghosh, another Bengali did was to come out in the open and levelled sexual misconduct charges on Anurag Kashyap. Now the onscreen Draupadi, Rupa Ganguly did a smart thing.
Amid the reports of Deepika Padukone and Karisma Kapoor drug chats coming out, the Bharatiya Janata Party’s Member of Parliament Rupa Ganguly on Monday alleged that the Mumbai film industry “kills people” and makes them “drug addicts”, keeps insulting women, but nobody is doing anything. Mumbai Police remains silent. It does not take action,” Ganguly told a news agency. She asked, “Why is Bollywood silent over the sexual misconduct charges levelled by Payal Ghosh against Anurag Kashyap? Why is Mumbai Police not taking any action against Anurag Kashyap?” she asked. Earlier too, Rupa Ganguly fought against a woman who was wronged. Her questions are very relevant and her statements absolutely right.
