If the reports are to be believed, the cost of the latest short video from ‘Pushpa 2’ is Rs 4 crore. Reading this you might wonder, are they fooling around with the public? Would Mythri Movie Makers spend Rs 4 crore just to make a video viral? Or is it just a publicity stunt?
Apparently, the makers have allocated a good sum for the publicity of the movie as they would want to compete with the record holders of ‘RRR’ and other films which have grossed massively at the box office. But spending Rs 4 crore on just a short video is not so believable.
Although the first part received negative reviews initially from critics and audiences due to its unorthodox climax, later picked up pace gradually and went on to collect Rs 300 crore including pre-release business. Now, the makers are eyeing double the collections in the second part ‘Pushpa 2 – The Rule’.
