Ashish Reddy is the new entrant from the Dil Raju family who is making his debut with the film Rowdy Boys. Read our review to find out if the film has any juice in it or not.
Plot
The story is about Akash(Ashish Reddy) who is in neck-deep love with Kavya(Anupama Parameswaran). This love story leads to a big feud between two colleges. It further creates a big hassle in the love story as well. In such problems what will Akash do and win his love is the story.
Performances
Ashish Reddy is very good with his dances but he needs to work on his body language and dialogue delivery. The action part is okay. But for his first film, one can say he was impressive. Anupama Parameswaran has toned down and looks beautiful. She also does well in her part and was very good when it comes to the emotional department. The film is filled with budding actors and they are okay.
Analysis
It has been quite some time since we have seen college dramas. That is the reason, Dil Raju has planned things in a way that his nephew, Ashish gets the good scope to showcase his all-around skills as the plot is such.
But in how many movies can we see the same college issues. The conflict point in the love story is good but the narration done by the director is not up to the mark as you do not carry away with the emotions of the key characters.
DSP has given good music but the songs are not that appealing on screen. The pace is slow and there are also not many wow moments that can keep you hooked on to your seats. The film has some youthful moments and Ashish was good but the rest is just about ordinary.
