Robinhood OTT: When and where to watch Nithiin’s heist-comedy online
Actor Nithiin’s latest movie, Robinhood, has created a buzz among fans. After several box office failures, he teamed up again with director Venky Kudumula for this action-comedy. The film hit theaters on March 28, 2025, and features Sreeleela as the female lead. Cricket star David Warner also makes a special cameo appearance.
The story revolves around Ram (played by Nithiin), an orphan who acts like a modern-day Robinhood. He steals from the rich and helps orphans. Meanwhile, a businessman named Devadatta Nage is involved in the illegal trade of marijuana. He discovers that the village of Rudrakonda has a unique variety of the plant, making it a key location for his expansion plans.
At the same time, Neera Vasudev (played by Sreeleela) arrives in India and travels to Rudrakonda with Ram as her guide. How AV Pharma is linked to this village and the role of the mafia leader David (David Warner) form the crux of the story.
The digital and satellite rights of Robinhood have been secured by Zee Studios for a profitable deal. The movie will soon be available for streaming on ZEE5 and will also be aired on Zee Telugu and Zee Cinemalu.
Although an exact release date has not been announced, reports suggest that the movie will be available on OTT platforms in the first week of May. The final decision will depend on its box office performance in the coming weeks.
The film stars Nithiin, Sreeleela, Vennela Kishore, Rajendra Prasad, Devdatta Nage, Shine Tom Chacko, and Mime Gopi. The movie’s music is composed by GV Prakash Kumar, and Sai Sriram handled the cinematography. It is produced by Naveen Yerneni and Ravi Shankar under the Mythri Movie Makers banner.
