Payal Ghosh very sensibly and smartly told the media that she has no grouse or personal or professional grudge against the actresses that she named. She doesn’t even know them. She had merely expressed to the media what Anura Kashyap had told her and if the actresses have a problem with that they should ask Anurag instead as to why he used their names when Payal was at his house. Payal Ghosh says it is the truth and she stands by her words. We hear actor Richa Chadha is annoyed and hurt, also she is engaged to get married soon and this came as a rude shock to her. Yesterday, she said she has initiated “appropriate” legal action after her name was dragged in a “defamatory” manner by actor Payal Ghosh, who has accused filmmaker Anurag Kashyap of sexual harassment.
Ghosh took to Twitter, claiming that the “Gangs of Wasseypur” director was sexually inappropriate towards her, an allegation Kashyap called “baseless”. In a video released to ABN Telugu, Ghosh claimed that the incident happened in 2014-2015. She also claimed that Kashyap boasted about his connection with megastar Amitabh Bachchan and how he calls him and asks for opportunities for his son Abhishek Bachchan and claimed that there were other female artistes who he got intimate with, including Chadha. Her lawyer Saveena Bedi Sachar’s statement says, “”Our Client has initiated appropriate legal action and shall further pursue her legal rights and remedies in law as may be advised in her best interest.”
