Sushant Singh Rajput’s girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty and her brother Showik have been in judicial custody for almost a month after they were arrested in a case allegedly linked to a ‘drug angle’ in the late actor’s death probe by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB). On Tuesday, the Special NDPS Court extended their judicial custody till 20th October.
However today, Bombay High Court granted bail to the actress along with Samuel Miranda and Dipesh Sawant; with a few conditions. Rhea will have to pay a Rs 1 lakh bond. On the other hand, Showik Chakraborty’s bail and Abdul Basith have been rejected. The NCB had asked for one week more judicial custody but that was rejected. Conditions for bail is that she should deposit her passport, should not travel out of the country without the prior permission of the court and visit the police station every day for ten days after release.
