Plot
The cops in the city of Hyderabad are busy with the independence day celebrations. Seeing this as a big opportunity, two thieves rob close to 50 houses. Shraddha Srinath is a tough cop who is assigned the duty of nabbing the criminals. This is the time, Chandru(Vishal) makes an entry and starts heading the investigation. Who is Chandru and how is he connected to this robbery? forms the story of Chakra.
Regina is shown as this computer genius who plans stuff. Her role has a good graph and a negative shade is showcased through her and Regina does a good job in portraying her character. Vishal is always good in action roles and he has done the same with this film as well. His action, body language, and dialogue delivery are on point. Shraddha Srinath is impressive in her role of a cop and has nothing much to do except the routine dialogues.
Chakra is a film that can be termed as the sequel to Vishal’s hit film Abhimanyudu. This film also has to deal with a lot of hacking and technology. That film had some good action and neat logic as well. But in Chakra, things are started quite well but from there, they are not carried off well. This itself makes things dull in many areas. Vishal is good in his role but his character dominates things as if nothing has happened.
