30 Rojullo Preminchadam Ela is a film that has been hyped up so much thanks to its music. The film is out and read our review to find out if it has any juice in it or not.
Plot
The film is about a couple who get killed in mysterious circumstances. The happy thing is that they are reborn as Akshara and Arjun in 2020. Well, they join the same college and do not see eye to eye. But as destiny strikes, their old love brings them back. How all this happens is showcased through the narration.
Performances
Pradeep is a proven face on TV and he carries the goodwill on the big screen as well. He is amazing with his dances and is awesome in the comedy. But when it comes to the emotions, he needs to work hard. Amrutha Iyer is pretty good and dominates Pradeep in many scenes. She has the looks, talent and also the vibe which she showcases.
Posani is getting repetitive with his roles and is quite loud in the film. Viva Harsha was good with his comedy. Hema was also very impressive in her emotonal role. Subhalekha Sudhakar was good but is not used properly.
Analysis
The film is based on the theme of reincarnation and has a good start up. The love story has a tragic ending and things are brought neatly in the present situation. But the narration is what makes things disappointing here in the second half.
The director Munna had a lot of scope to use drama in the film but he used all his energy to make the film entertaining which sadly isnt. Because of this, the emotional connect goes down in the film. The biggest song also comes during the first five minutes and there is nothing much left to look forward to afterwards.
The technical aspects like music, visuals are good but the film is lengthy as hell. The editing is disappointing and goes for on and on with the forced emotions. The climax is rushed and things are hurried. In a nutshell, 30 Rojullo Preminchadam Ela is a film that is glossy but fails to impress and has too many deviations.
