The tragic death of Sushant Singh Rajput has put entire country in shock and is yet to come to terms with the fact that 34-year-old actor is no more. Kai Po Che actor committed suicide by hanging himself at his Bandra residence. The news was brought to light by his domestic help, where in Mumbai police officials reached the place. The body has been sent to Dr RN Cooper Municipal General Hospital from his residence.

Meanwhile, celebrities and Sushant’s colleagues are as shock as we are and took to Twitter to share their grief. Speaking about Sushant’s demise, police is yet to ascertain the motive for taking such extreme step. However, no suicide note was found at his residence. While the actual reason is yet to be known, it is speculated that Chhichhore actor was deeply saddened by the dead of his former manager Disha Salian, who died in suicide barely a week back.

On the other side, his film Dil Bechara was supposed to release in May. However with the COVID-19 virus wreaking havoc, the film released date got pushed. Meanwhile, he was in a six long years relationship with his ex girlfriend Ankita Lokhande before calling it quits. A few days back, she had given hint to her followers flaunted a ring on Instagram citing that she is engaged to her beau Vicky Jain.

Meanwhile, Ankita when asked by a portal over the phone enquiring over Sushant’s demise had said “What?” and then hung up the phone. Looks like she was unware of her ex’s demise and got shocked.

The Kedarnath actor was highly attached to his mother which he had always been vocal about it during interviews. His mother passed away when the actor was just 13, so one can feel the void she had left in his life. His last Instagram post was for his mother. Sharing a black and white picture of himself and her mother, his post read, “Blurred past evaporating from teardrops. Unending dreams carving an arc of smile. And a fleeting life, negotiating between the two…”
Speaking about his mother at the release of Dhoni:The Untold Story he said, “I wish she was alive to see me succeed in life. I am sure she would have been really happy and proud of me. And maybe I would have been a different person than what I am now. The way I looked at things then and now, they are very different and I cannot go back to doing that. It’s unfortunate. But everything that used to excite me, doesn’t excite me that much now. I don’t know why. No relationship, no success, absolutely nothing… If she was alive, probably it wouldn’t concern her, but just because something has changed inside me, everything has become so insipid. It takes a lot out of me to force myself to get overly excited about things and probably this is the reason why I like acting so much. Because it helps me get away from myself.”
