After the 2017 comedy caper Raja The Great, Ravi Teja hasn’t scored any success at the box office. All of his films in the past two years have become duds. Currently, he is acting in Krack, which is being directed by Gopichand Malineni. The latest we hear that the budget of this film has increased by Rs. 10 crores, making it a total of Rs. 35 crores. According to the sources, the makers have initially planned to wrap up the movie within the budget of Rs. 25 crores.
However, due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the delay in the shoot, the budget has now exceeded by 10 crores. Considering the current market value of Ravi Teja, it is a huge gamble by the producer Tagore Madhu.Ravi Teja’s previous films Amar Akbar Anthony and Disco Raja also exceeded their proposed budget and we all know how they ended up at the box office. Krack has to extremely well to recover this heavy investment. Featuring Shruti Haasan as the female lead, this movie will hit the screens during Sankranthi 2021.
