Raviteja’s movie “Eagle” was supposed to be released during the Sankranthi festival. However, in a recent meeting of the producers’ council, Dil Raju announced that the makers of Eagle agreed to change the release date to February 9th.
This decision was made to allow four other movies – “Guntur Kaaram,” “Saindhav,” “Naa Saami Ranga,” and “Hanuman” – to release during the Sankranthi season. Movies previously scheduled for February 9th, “Tillu Square” and “Yatra 2,” will be rescheduled to give “Eagle” a solo release.
There were ongoing rumors about the possibility of “Eagle” being moved from the Sankranthi race, but the movie’s makers consistently confirmed its release for Sankranthi until the recent announcement of the postponement.
Regarding other Sankranthi releases, Trivikram Srinivas’ eagerly anticipated movie starring Mahesh Babu, Sreeleela, and Meenakshi Chaudhary named “Guntur Kaaram,” alongside Prashanth Varma’s “Teja Sajja,” Amritha Aiyer, and Varalaxmi Sarathkumar starrer “HanuMan,” are set to hit the screens on January 12.
On January 13, Sailesh Kolanu’s film featuring Venkatesh, Ruhani Sharma, Shraddha Srinath, and Andrea Jeremiah, titled “Saindhav,” as well as Karthik Ghattamaneni’s “Eagle,” starring Ravi Teja and Kavya Thapar, are scheduled for release. “Naa Saami Ranga,” starring Vijay Binni, Nagarjuna, Ashika Ranganath, Allari Naresh, and Raj Tarun, is set for release on January 14.
