Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja has faced challenges in his career due to the scripts and directors he has chosen. Despite this, he continues to move forward without careful consideration. Ravi Teja’s recent film, ‘Eagle,’ created a buzz during the Sankranthi release clash. It made a lot of noise to get postponed from Sankranthi and then the producer, T. G. Vishwa Prasad, had secured a solo release date on Feb 9th, resolving the issue at that time.
Now, the film Sandeep Kishan’’s Ooru Peru Bhairavakona, a small but potentially successful project, must change its release date to accommodate Eagle for a solo release.
The question arises : Does ‘Eagle’ truly require all theaters exclusively? This move puts added pressure on Ravi Teja to deliver a successful film, as increased attention will be on him.
If Ravi Teja fails to deliver an engaging film, it will be disappointing, and the hype surrounding ‘Eagle’ will negatively impact the entire team. Even the makers of Guntur Kaaram heavily promoted their film, highlighting star value. However, the outcome after release did not live up to the expectations. Perhaps, it’s time to let the film’s quality speak for itself rather than relying solely on pre-release hype.
