Rashmika Mandanna recently shared a video praising the Atal Setu, a six-lane elevated highway sea bridge in Mumbai. She applauded the Modi government for developing world-class infrastructure and expressed her admiration for India’s progress over the last decade. Rashmika highlighted how improved road planning and infrastructure have made travel easier from Navi Mumbai to Mumbai, Goa to Mumbai, and Bengaluru to Mumbai. She expressed pride in India’s growth and called it “brilliant.”
Rashmika’s enthusiastic comments caught the attention of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who retweeted her post, emphasizing the importance of connecting people and improving lives. Rashmika responded by thanking the Prime Minister for his acknowledgment.
However, not everyone saw her praise as genuine. Leaders from the Congress party and some social media users speculated that her sudden praise of the Atal Setu might be part of the BJP’s election strategy. They pointed out that Rashmika had recently received notices from the Income Tax Department regarding discrepancies in her filings. This led to speculation that her video might have been an attempt to avoid further scrutiny from the IT department.
