Kannada beauty Rashmika Mandanna is in news for the past few days over the IT officials swooping on her house. While her manager cleared the air stating that it was a usual IT raids, but here comes big news. Apparently, undeclared assets over Rs 3 crore has been seized and also found the actress of evading tax for the past few years.
According to reports, after 30 hours of investigation, the IT sleuths found two PAN cards on Rashmika’s name and found undeclared income worth Rs 5 crore. Previously, Rashmika’s mother said “We all cooperated with the officials since Thursday. The officials asked some questions which we answered properly.”
I am not the highest-paid actress
Before the IT raids, Rashmika was quizzed on being the highest-paid actress considering her demand in films. To which she said, “Highest-paid, who said? I am not the highest-paid actress. I am just taking baby steps in film industry. I haven’t worked in the film industry to know everything and everyone. When people say I am the highest paid, I wonder from where it (news) is spreading. I wonder ‘dude, from where it (money) is coming and where it is going.’ I don’t have any money in the bank. I still feel like debutant.”
