Actress Tripti Dimri, known for her roles in movies like ‘Bulbbul’ and the recent blockbuster ‘Animal,’ recently shared insights about filming intimate scenes in these projects. While ‘Animal’ continues to set box office records, conversations around the intimate scenes between Tripti and Ranbir Kapoor have been making rounds on social media.
Discussing the intimate scene in ‘Animal,’ Tripti revealed that director Sandeep Reddy Vanga informed her about the scene during the script reading, emphasizing that he aimed to shoot it aesthetically, drawing inspiration from ‘Beauty and the Beast.’ Despite this, Tripti expressed that filming the rape scenes in ‘Bulbbul’ were emotionally more challenging than the intimate scene with Ranbir in ‘Animal.’ She mentioned the difficulty of portraying vulnerability and surrender in such intense sequences.
Tripti praised Ranbir Kapoor for ensuring a comfortable atmosphere during the shoot, limiting the crew on set and turning off monitors. She acknowledged his supportive nature by regularly checking on her well-being.
In response to criticism about the intimate scene in ‘Animal,’ Tripti expressed initial discomfort due to being unaccustomed to criticism but later found solace in her passion for acting. She highlighted her commitment to the profession, viewing her role as part of her personal journey towards self-healing and embracing challenges with a positive outlook.
‘This scene is being criticized a lot. This troubled me initially because I am a person who has rarely faced criticism. I was surprised. But I sat quietly and thought about it. The day I decided to become an actor, no one forced me to become an actor. I wanted to do it because I found it exciting. I did not do anything wrong in the film. As I started acting, the character I was playing became a part of the healing in a way. I started enjoying it. I started finding happiness in every challenge and thing that came my way,’ the actress said.
