Ranveer Singh, the dynamic Bollywood actor, is gearing up for an exciting collaboration with director Prasanth Varma for an upcoming film project. Sources close to the director revealed that Ranveer has expressed interest in joining forces with Prasanth, although the formal commitment is yet to be finalized.
Prasanth Varma, known for his work on “HanuMan,” has reportedly approached Ranveer for a film within his cinematic universe. While Ranveer has shown keen interest, an official confirmation is pending. The project, which will be backed by Mythri Movie Makers, is expected to be Prasanth’s next venture following the success of “HanuMan.”
During the Ram Mandir Pran Prathistha ceremony, Prasanth Varma surprised fans by announcing his next film, titled “Jai Hanuman.” However, it remains uncertain whether Ranveer will be part of this particular project.
Expressing his enthusiasm on social media, Prasanth shared his gratitude for the support received for “HanuMan” and announced the commencement of pre-production for “Jai Hanuman” on the auspicious occasion of Ram Mandir Pran Prathistha.
“HanuMan,” featuring Teja Sajja, Amritha Aiyer, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, and Vinay Rai, was a massive success, grossing over ₹100 crore globally and establishing the Prasanth Varma Cinematic Universe (PVCU).
Apart from his collaboration with Prasanth Varma, Ranveer Singh is also set to appear in Rohit Shetty’s “Singham Again,” alongside an ensemble cast including Deepika Padukone, Ajay Devgn, Akshay Kumar, Tiger Shroff, and Kareena Kapoor Khan. Additionally, he is involved in Farhan Akhtar’s “Don 3.”
Last year, Farhan Akhtar unveiled Ranveer Singh as the new Don in the teaser for “Don 3: The Final Chapter.” The teaser featured Ranveer’s powerful voiceover, hinting at the resurgence of the iconic character with the lines, “Sher jo so raha hain woh jagega kab, puchte hai yeh sab. Unse keh do phir jaag utha hoon main, aur phir samne jald aane ko…”
