Ranveer Singh is currently immersed in the production of his latest film, “Singham Again.” Despite the average response to his recent movie, “Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani,” the film garnered good viewership on OTT platforms.
Meanwhile, in a recent development, it is being speculated that Ranveer Singh himself approached Tollywood director Prashanth Varma, for a potential collaboration. Discussions are ongoing, with a project centered around independence reportedly in consideration.
Expressing a keen interest in working with South Indian directors, Ranveer Singh has also signed up for a mega-budget series film with Basil Joseph, renowned for directing “Minnal Murali.” In a recent statement, Ranveer Singh praised Tamil director Atlee, acknowledging his significant influence in Bollywood. All of this is making netizens comment that the hero highly trusts South directors and is desperate to work with them.
Prashanth Varma, currently celebrating the success of Hanuman, revealed exciting plans for the sequel titled Jai Hanuman. The director, basking in the film’s 50-day successful run, talked about the intense pre-production work underway, indicating high expectations for another blockbuster.
Meanwhile, Basil Joseph, the director of “Minnal Murali,” is multitasking as he takes on acting roles in four upcoming movies: “Guruvayoor Ambalanadayil,” “Ajayante Randam Moshanam,” “Varshangalkku Shesham,” and “Nunakuzhi.”
As for Atlee, the director behind the pan-India blockbuster “Jawan,” featuring Shah Rukh Khan, Nayanathara, Deepika Padukone, and Vijay Sethupathi, continues his prolific journey. His latest project, “Baby John,” is an upcoming Hindi action drama, serving as a remake of his own Tamil film “Theri,” released in 2016, which achieved tremendous success by crossing the 1000-crore mark worldwide.
So, we have to wait and see if any of these directors will deliver a huge hit for this Bollywood hero.
