Ram Charan’s forthcoming flick is been in the news since its inception and it is one of the hugely awaited films which is scheduled to hit the theatres in March 2018. The movie is set to be a village drop backstory. Samantha features as a female lady in the film.
Now the pre-release business of Rangastalam 1985 is too high than expected. The Telugu satellite and digital streaming rights were acquired by Star MAA channel and Amazon Prime Video respectively for more than 20 Cr. Recently Hindi satellite rights were sold out to a leading national entertainment channel for a fancy price of Rs 10.5+ Cr. The Telugu version’s audio rights were sold to a popular music label for Rs 1.50+ Cr. In Ceded area, the film’s rights were offered Rs.13 Cr.
This itself proves that the film is a hot cake. Rangasthalam’s will easily fetch another Rs 55 Cr from the theatrical rights for the other areas of twin Telugu states, Karnataka, ROI and overseas. The Trends clearly suggest that the film’s rights maybe of the worth of Rs.100 Cr.
