After much deliberation about his wedding date and doubts about its postponement owing to the virus scare, actor Nithiin is finally getting married to his lady love Shalini Kandukuri amid the presence of select friends, family and industry colleagues today. In what appears to be a perfect gift for Nithiin in this happy hour, the team of his upcoming film Rang De decided to release its teaser earlier today. It’s to be noted that the actor had posted a funny video about the team forcing him to come to the studio even as he was getting ready for his marriage.
Rang De brings together actors Nithiin and Keerthy Suresh together for the first time; in fact, the film was the first Telugu project the latter had signed after Mahanati. The film looks like a decent romantic comedy in the making, where the female protagonist appears to have an upper hand in taking the relationship forward. The frames look all peppy and colourful in the brief teaser, where Nithiin is doing several household chores as if it’s an ordeal and there seems to be a conflict with the marriage.
It’s for the second time that P C Sreeram is cranking the camera for Nithiin after Vikram Kumar’s Ishq. Filmmaker Venky Atluri would be hoping to prove his critics wrong after his Mr Majnu failed to live up to expectations. Devi Sri Prasad composes music for Rang De, which is expected to release for Sankranti and the team, as mentioned in the teaser, are ‘hopeful’ about it.
