Nitesh Tiwari’s eagerly awaited film, Ramayana, featuring Ranbir Kapoor and Sai Pallavi, has been garnering attention lately. Meanwhile, recent news reveals trouble brewing for this high-budget film.. Allu Mantena Media Ventures LLP has raised concerns, alleging that the movie’s script is closely tied to their own project, also titled Ramayana. They claim that Prime Focus Technologies Limited, with whom they had discussions regarding the acquisition of Intellectual Property Rights for their project, has failed to meet payment obligations.

As per the notice issued by Allu Mantena Media Ventures LLP, the agreement with Prime Focus Technologies Limited has not been finalized due to outstanding fees. Consequently, they maintain ownership of their project, and Prime Focus Technologies Limited has no legal authority over it. Any usage of their content in Prime Focus Technologies Limited’s upcoming film, helmed by Nitesh Tiwari, would constitute copyright infringement, prompting them to contemplate legal recourse.

Earlier, images of the film’s lead actors, Ranbir Kapoor and Sai Pallavi, exuding charm in traditional attire while strolling by a city lake, went viral on social media. In Ramayana, Ranbir Kapoor portrays the character of Lord Ram, while Sai Pallavi essays the role of Sita. Yash, renowned for his role in KGF Chapter 2, is rumored to be portraying Raavan, commanding a hefty fee of Rs 150 crores.

Despite the legal entanglement, Ramayana boasts an impressive ensemble cast including Ranbir Kapoor, Sai Pallavi, Sunny Deol, and Yash, under the direction of Nitesh Tiwari. However, the sudden exit of producers Madhu Mantena and Allu Aravind, under undisclosed circumstances, has raised eyebrows. Madhu Mantena’s public notice emphasizes their ownership of the film’s script and material, cautioning against unauthorized utilization by Prime Focus Technologies Limited or any affiliated entities.
