The biggest wedding in the tinsel town for this year has finally happened! Rana Daggubati and his longtime beau Miheeka Bajaj tied the knot in a low-key private ceremony held at Ramanaidu Studios in the presence of their family and friends on Saturday. The guest list for the marriage numbered only 50 people, all of whom were tested negative for Coronavirus prior to their entry.
Rana looked simple and elegant in a cream coloured kurta and dhoti and Miheeka was at her best, dressed in a gold, cream and pink coloured lehenga, designed by Anamika Khanna. The lehenga was reportedly a hand-done zardosi, with a fine blend chikankari and gold metalwork that she sported with a woven gold dupatta. Sources confirm that the lehenga took over 10000 man-hours to be created.
The wedding menu was curated by Taj Falaknuma Palace, Hyderabad, where the guests were treated with a lavish spread of Indian, Chinese and Continental fares. Actor Nani took to a VR video link to have a glimpse of the wedding in the comfort of his home, while Samantha, Naga Chaithanya, Allu Arjun, Ram Charan, Upasana were a few big names from his family and industry to have made it to the event. Nithiin and Nikhil were among celebrities to have been married earlier this year in low-key ceremonies amid the pandemic scare. Looks like the pandemic has done well to reinforce priorities in marriages, that presence of near and dear is more important than uncalled-for fanfare.
