Ram Charan regrets acting in THIS film

Ram Charan is excited for the release of his movie Game Changer on January 10, 2025. Before the release, he appeared on Nandamuri Balakrishna’s show Unstoppable with NBK. As per insight sources, during the show, he shared that he regrets playing the lead role in the remake of Zanjeer.

The remake was a Bollywood film released in 2013. Ram Charan played the lead role, which was originally performed by Amitabh Bachchan. Priyanka Chopra Jonas was the female lead in the film. The movie was directed by Apoorva Lakhia and was shot in both Hindi and Telugu. The Telugu version was called Thoofan.

Despite having a great cast, including Sanjay Dutt and Prakash Raj, the film did not do well. Many critics and audiences did not like it. Ram Charan admitted that he did not feel good about the film after its release. Talking about the same in NBK Unstoppable show Ram Charan has revealed that it’s the only film in his career that he regreates doing.

Zanjeer was originally released in 1973 and became a classic in Indian cinema. It starred Amitabh Bachchan as a brave police officer. Ram Charan’s film, however, could not live up to the original.

Looking forward, Ram Charan is now focused on his upcoming movie Game Changer. In this film, he plays an IAS officer who fights against corruption. The movie also stars Kiara Advani and has been directed by Shankar.
