Ram Charan eyes big-budget mythological spectacle with THIS filmmaker

Tollywood star Ram Charan is in discussions for a mythological epic with Kill director Nikhil Nagesh Bhat. The film expected to be produced by Madhu Mantena, has been in the works for over six months. If everything goes as planned, this project could be one of Ram Charan’s next ventures.

According to sources, this upcoming movie is a big-budget historical drama centered around a legendary character from Indian mythology. The pre-visualization has already been completed and the team is enthusiastic about working with Ram Charan.

A source close to the project mentioned, “This film is set in a grand backdrop and will bring one of Indian mythology’s most important figures to life. The script, production design, and planning are already in advanced stages. Ram Charan is expected to make his final decision soon.”

If Ram Charan signs the film, it will likely begin production after his current project with Buchi Babu Sana which also stars Janhvi Kapoor. The official timeline for the film’s shoot and release is yet to be confirmed.

Before this, director Nikhil Nagesh Bhat has committed to another film with Murad Khetani, known for his work on the 2023 thriller Apurva. Details of that film remain under wraps but it is expected to be completed before Ram Charan’s mythological epic begins.

Apart from this film, Ram Charan is also in talks with Sukumar, the director of Pushpa 2. Sukumar is currently working on the script for his next project. If all goes well, Ram Charan’s lineup could include movies with Buchi Babu Sana, Nikhil Nagesh Bhat and Sukumar.
