Chiranjeevi is loved by audience transcending all age groups. The Megastar of Tollywood celebrated his 64th birthday. Kondiela Siva Sankara Vara Prasad, who became a household name as Chiru has delivered blockbuster hits like Shubhaleha, Vijetha, Muta Mesthri, Indra, Shankar Dada MBBS to name a few. He was conferred the Padma Bhushan in 2006 as well as the Special Award – South for Honorary Legendary acting career in the same year. Chiranjeevi also has four Nandi Awards and an Honorary Doctorate from Andhra University. With all the achievement, Chiranjeevi still stands tall with his humbleness and grounded nature.
On the work front, Chiranjeevi awaits the release of Sye Raa. The film has an ensemble star cast including Amitabh Bachchan. Speaking about Big B’s modesty, Chiruhas said, “He didn’t even charge for his flight tickets. We couldn’t push him after a point.” To this, Chiranjeevi further added, stated, “That is a great thing. That way, Mr Bachchan didn’t even allow me to keep a private jet for his travel. I asked him about his accommodation and he said that he’s doing it for our friendship. We know each other for a long time. That way we are so lucky to have him on board.”
Chiru revealing about Big B’s cameo said, “I’m indebted to Amitabh Bachchan sir. I called him and told him about the character. He’s a mentor to me. He said that Telugu was a problem for him. I said, “No problem, whatever language you’re comfortable in, you can deliver your dialogues.” He immediately said ok. I think this is the first time he is doing other language films. “
