Even before the release of his debut movie, Vaishnav Tej finished the shoot for his second film in Krish Jagarlamudi’s direction. The film is inspired by the novel Kondapolam, written by Sannapureddy Venkata Ramireddy. Rakul Preet Singh played the leading lady in the film. Like how Samantha played a de-glam role in Rangasthalam, Rakul plays a de-glam role in this movie. Not just that, Rakul will also deliver dialogues in the Rayalaseema accent.
Rakul Preet Singh played a village belle multiple times in her career, but this is the first time she will go de-glam and restrict her slang to a particular region of the Telugu states. Rakul plays ‘Obulamma’ in the film, and the film is about the Nallamala forest-based shepherds who are responsible for protecting their sheep from the dangerous attacks of the predators and the red sanders of the region. The film unit will release the movie in theatres during Summer next year. More details on the project will come out soon.
