Rajinikanth-Akshay Kumar’s forthcoming flick 2.0 has been postponed for inevitable reasons from Diwali to next year summer.
Shankar directorial 2.0 was supposed to hit the screens on January 26 but got postponed to avoid a clash with Akshay Kumar’s Padman. Thalavia avoids a clash with Akshay’s film but he is set to compete with Tollywood biggies Mahesh Babu and Allu Arjun next year summer.
Recently, 2.0 filmmakers have made an official announcement that they will release the film in the month of April but not the exact date.
If Rajini’s 2.0 release in April then it would create problems Tollywood movies Mahesh Babu’s Bharath Ane Nenu and Allu Arjun’s Naa Peru Surya were scheduled to be released in the same month April.
Bharath Ane Nenu is bankrolled has come out with a statement after the new release date of 2.0 was announced. Tollywood producers want to avoid a clash at the box office with other dubbed films.
