Some big names from the Indian film industry – Rajinikanth, Chiranjeevi, Mohanlal, Rishab Shetty, and Dhanush – have received invitations to the grand opening ceremony of the Sri Ram Mandir in Ayodhya on January 22. The ceremony is a significant event, and it will see the presence of the Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi, along with other important figures from both India and abroad.
The event, known as the ‘pran pratishtha’ or consecration ceremony, will mark the installation of the idol of Ram Lalla at the temple in Ayodhya. The Shri Ram Janmbhoomi Teerth Kshetra has sent invitations to about 8,000 distinguished guests. This includes well-known industrialists like Gautam Adani, Mukesh Ambani, and Ratan Tata.
The guest list comprises approximately 6,000 religious leaders from all over the country and an additional 2,000 important personalities from various sectors of society. To ensure a smooth entry process, the organizers will share a link with the invitees beforehand. This link will enable them to register and generate a unique bar code, which will serve as their entry pass to the ceremony.
Moreover, the ceremony plans to honor the families of around 50 karsevaks who lost their lives in incidents of police firing in 1990. The VHP (Vishwa Hindu Parishad) is responsible for inviting these families and will take care of their accommodation and meals during the event.
