Following the success of Shah Rukh Khan’s film Jawan, director Atlee is set to take on an even more ambitious project. He plans to direct a new movie starring both Salman Khan and the legendary Rajinikanth. This collaboration is expected to be one of the biggest pan-India films ever made.

A recent report revealed that Atlee has been in talks with Salman Khan for the past two years. The goal is to elevate his next project to new heights especially with the addition of Rajinikanth. Sun Pictures, a production company known for its close ties with Rajinikanth will produce the film.

A trade source shared that the production team is confident in bringing both superstars on board. Salman Khan is set to start working on Atlee’s film after completing his current project, “Sikandar.” Meanwhile, Rajinikanth will begin working on this new film after finishing his commitments for “Coolie.” The source highlighted that this collaboration is poised to create a memorable cinematic experience for generations.

“Jawan,” released on September 7 was one of the major successes of the previous year, directed by Atlee. Shah Rukh Khan played the role of Azad a character that created significant buzz and excitement among audiences. Initially, the promotional material made it seem like Khan’s character was the villain especially with his intense dialogues. However, as the story unfolds it becomes clear that Azad is not a villain but a victim of circumstances. A key moment in the film involves Azad challenging a minister with a puzzle, revealing a shocking statistic: 10,281 farmers have died by suicide, highlighting his deep frustration and pain.

“Jawan” addresses numerous critical issues, with Shah Rukh Khan’s character and his group of determined women tackling corruption in various sectors, including hospitals, defense, and government. The film’s climax features Azad urging citizens to vote responsibly blending action and social messages seamlessly. Atlee’s direction and SRK’s powerful performance kept the audience engaged, transforming potentially preachy moments into thrilling cinematic experiences.

SRK also portrayed a second character in the film, Vikram Rathore, Azad’s father. Rathore, despite suffering from memory loss is depicted as a formidable force capable of taking down enemies with style and ease. Both father and son have faced injustice and their combined efforts create a dynamic duo, adding depth to the film’s narrative.

As Atlee prepares for his next big project, the anticipation is high. With Salman Khan and Rajinikanth, two of the biggest names in Indian cinema set to star expectations are soaring.
